The Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas, which exhibition area consists of 5 floors and 70 rooms, is known as a dedicative to the decorative arts. The Museum houses the collection of 60,000 items. The most objects are made in Spain, but the museum houses also European, Chinese objects. Visitors can meet here Coptic fabrics, Roman glass objects, silverware, pottery, ceramics, tapestries, toys, clocks, jewelry, furniture, musical instruments, mirrors, beds, arms, textiles, chests, carpets, altars, religious items, vases, medals, sculptures and the most recent designs and, in addition, Gothic carvings, alabaster figurines, elaborate dollhouses, elegant baroque four-posted beds and Chinese musical instruments, rolled paintings and Chinese clothing.

The Valencia Kitchen, transferring from a Valencia's palace shows to the visitors the scenes of preparing sweets, chocolates and utensils used that time.

Admission to the Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas is free on Sunday; other days admission is 2.40 euro for adults.
