Basilica de San Isidro
The cathedral was built in the 17th century by Francisco Bautista.
Basilica de San Isidro shelters the remains of Saint San Isidro
- the patron of Madrid and his wife - Santa Maria de la Cabeza.
Madrid holds annual processions in his honour every 15th May.
- San Nicolas de los Servitas
Church
San Nicolas de los Servitas which is known as La Iglesia de San
Nicolas de Bari is the oldest Madrid's church. The church has
a 12th century bell tower with Gothic elements which is one of
the most ancient city's structures and retains its distinctive
Moorish style.
